Teacher Interface
Interactive digital citizenship lessons can be found in TypeTastic under each class for which materials are available. The lessons are tailored to each grade level. The lessons for higher grade levels are always slightly more challenging.
Displaying Sessions to Students
All sessions suitable for your group are automatically visible to students. You can choose to show or hide sessions for each group by clicking the "Hide" button. We recommend planning the topic to be covered well in advance before students log in to TypeTastic and hiding the sessions that are not intended to be covered during the lesson.
You can also add lessons from higher/lower grade levels by clicking the "Edit" button and selecting "Add New Units." Lessons are added by Units, and each Unit always includes all the lessons it contains, which you can hide separately in the group view.
The lessons for different grade levels are color-coded in the interface for easy distinction; preschool lessons are blue, 1st-grade lessons are green, and 2nd-grade lessons are orange.
Note!
You can view all the material either by clicking the "Preview Study Material" button or by selecting your class and clicking the "Browse Class View" button.
Reporting
Students' results are saved in digital skills reports, which you can access by clicking on "Digital Citizenship" from the Class Reports. The digital citizenship report includes the status of the lesson (completed / ongoing), time, date, and the number of attempts. The results are also visible in the student's own report by clicking on the student's name.
